gmail - Email ID for the same email changes? -


i'm facing issue lately id of email changes.

i have application search mail box on hourly basis , store email id in order prevent processing of same email twice (the scans overlap hence see same emails more once).

any idea can cause change?

i understand mean google's id returned api example code; https://developers.google.com/gmail/api/v1/reference/users/messages/list#try-it

that id of message doesn't change itself.

if 1 moves email out of account, , in (via imap), new id.

also, if check same email in different gmail account, id different. id unique per account.

perhaps useful use message-id? message-id uniquely identifies email, id in email header generated sending server , not change. can search in gmail rfc822msgid:

asp.net - Problems sending emails from forum -
