java - Can I make a servlet filter with pattern to match file names ending with *x.ext? -

i want use expression language in of javascript files. set jspservlet, mapped javscript files, evaluated:

<servlet> <servlet-name>jsp</servlet-name> <servlet-class>weblogic.servlet.jspservlet</servlet-class> </servlet> <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>jsp</servlet-name> <url-pattern>*.js</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping>

then turned out 1 of js-files crashes on el-evaluation, , need specify files should evaluated. found out exceptions filter not supported. instead changed name of js-files contains expression language, end -el.js. updated of references scripts, , made silter mapping url pattern instead:

<servlet> <servlet-name>jsp</servlet-name> <servlet-class>weblogic.servlet.jspservlet</servlet-class> </servlet> <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>jsp</servlet-name> <url-pattern>*-el.js</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping>

turns out not accepted. have tried find rules of url-patterns, been unable locate them. know put relevant files in specific subfolder, , use folder url pattern, after painstakingly updating every reference of files, hoping there might easier way this. , no matter what, know rules of url-patterns.

so rules of url patterns java servlets? can use filenames-ending-with, more file extension specified, in way?
