oracle - Trouble with Visual Studio 2003 & Crystal Reports with .Net 1.1 app in Win7 -


there tool being maintained @ job written vba script in 1990s , changed .net application on decade ago. tool responsible multiple functions in multiple departments; while rewriting ground in .net 4.5, .net 1.1 app has maintained during development. includes updates crystal reporting.

unfortunately, whenever try add new data, errors. 1 report requires new field new oracle table. can add table object (but becomes evident after restarting vs2003), attempt incorporate report leads "unknown query engine error" @ runtime. i've verified of joins between tables in designer, verified database, , problem occurs no matter field in new table call. if remove references new table, "function not yet supported" or similar error when attempting generate report. i've used current versions of crystal, i'm newb vs2003 integrated version.

how can add new table without getting error? should basic left join on table if field has value line prints, can't print if add new tables.
