Windows Store app search keywords -


our company (drivehq) has published few apps on windows store. however, when searching apps in store using our company name "drivehq", can find 2 apps names contain "drivehq" - drivehq filemanager , drivehq webdav service; other 2 apps named webcam security camera , cameraftp cloud security camera viewer.

so question is: in order users find app searching company name, have include company name in app name?

the choice yours:

if don’t want change name of app, can add company name keywords in store listing not displayed customers can app appear in search results related company name.

if want include company name in app “webcam security camera” , “cameraftp cloud security camera viewer”, might have think keeping app name short since space display app’s name limited in many places. need create new submission , please make sure new name used in package/properties/displayname element in app manifest file, , update graphics , text including app name.

you might refer rename app has been published.
