python - running a script to figure out which program is connecting to a specific url -


this ad-hoc question, here scenario. family member ended particular bit of virus connecting specific url, program masks executable through java run-time , creates voice popups upon startup. done know if sending information or not.

i have switched through may av software none able detect it. bit-defender able "stop" url making connections. able find exact url.

my question is, if there way me run script(python or ruby) tracks incoming , out going tcp/ip connections , track particular program? can lead me in right direction might able code this?

asp.net - Problems sending emails from forum -
